R-05-08-25-13131 WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock has duly advertised for bids for the Greenhill Park Development Project, and WHEREAS, Phoenix Irrigation has submitted the lowest responsible bid, and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the bid of Phoenix Irrigation, Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City a contract with Phoenix Irrigation for the Greenhill Park Development Project . The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended. Funding: $55,000.00 Cost: $27,000.60 Source of funds: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Outside Resources: N/A Background Information: This project was identified in the City's Playground Replacement Program to update the existing playground and park to meet the current safety standards. The funding was awarded through the Community Development Block Grant Program this fiscal year. The project will also include sidewalks, site furnishings, and landscaping. Public Comment: N/A
