WHEREAS, the Stony Point High School Cheerleaders have requested
that the streets along the following parade route be closed from 6 : 00
o' clock p.m. until 8 : 00 o' clock p.m. on October 4, 2004 for the Stony
Point High School Homecoming Parade: Bowman Road from approximately 788
feet east of its intersection with Sunrise Road to its intersection
with Ridgetop Drive, south on Ridgetop Drive to Ridgeline Drive, west
on Ridgeline Drive to West Mesa Park Drive, south on West Mesa Park
Drive to Long Meadow Drive, east on Long Meadow Drive, north on Long
Meadow Drive to Ridgeline Drive, east on Ridgeline Drive to Sunrise
Road, north on Sunrise Road to a point approximately 80 feet north of
the intersection of Ridgeline Drive, and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to grant such request, Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
That the streets along the parade route be closed as set forth
above.
The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of
the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this
Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the
public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and
the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted
upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas
Government Code, as amended.
