WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock ("City") desires to remodel
and paint the interior of the Robert G. and Helen Griffith Public
Library, and
WHEREAS, the City is a member of The Cooperative Purchasing
Network ("TCPN"), and
WHEREAS, Greenway Enterprises is an approved vendor of the
TCPN, and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to issue a purchase order to Greenway
Enterprises, Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS,
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
issue a purchase order to Greenway Enterprises for remodeling and
painting of the Robert G. and Helen Griffith Public Library.
The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice
of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this
Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to
the public as required by law at all times during which this
Resolution and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered
and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act,
Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended.

order to Greenway Enterprises, Inc. for remodeling and painting of the
Robert & Helen Griffith Public Library.

Justification:
Greenway Enterprises has a job order contract through The Cooperative Purchasing Network
Contract No. R4540. Round Rock participates in the network, TCPN Pricing for this project is
based on this contract with TCPN and RS Means Pricing. Greenway Enterprises has successfully
completed previous projects with the City of Round Rock and the building construction
department is recommending Greenway Enterprises for this project.
Funding:
Cost: $58,567.20
Source of funds: General Self Financed Construction
Outside Resources: Greenway Enterprises
Background Information:
The last addition/remodel to the library took place ten years ago. With the growth and
changing needs the library has requested the remodel of three areas. These areas include: First
Floor — West Central — Modify Circulation area at center location of library; First Floor — South
East — Modify Room D for Office use; and Second Floor — Build Reference Office Area Painting of
the Library interior.
