WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock has duly advertised for bids
for the Egger Acres and Dennis Drive Improvement Project, and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined that all bids received
should be rejected and the project should be re -bid, Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS,
That all bids received for the Egger Acres and Dennis Drive
Improvement Project are hereby rejected and the project should be
re -bid.
The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice
of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this
Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to
the public as required by law at all times during which this
Resolution and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered
and formally acted upon, all as required by the
Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended.

The seven bids received were not within the budgeted amount for this project. At the request
of Engineering and Development Services, S.D. Kallman, LP is re-evaluating the design and
scope of this project.

Background Information:
On Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., seven sealed bids were submitted for the Egger
Acres and Dennis Drive Improvements. Upon review of said bids, S.D. Kallman, LP and City Staff
determined that JO'B Site Construction, LLC was the apparent low bidder.
At the request of Engineering and Development Services, S.D. Kallman, LP is re-evaluating the
design and scope of this project in order to bring construction costs within the City's budget.
