The City previously entered into an Engineering Services Contract with K Friese & Associates, Inc., to design a regional StormWater detention pond and channel repairs for the Dry Branch Tributary 1 traversing through the Kensington Place Neighborhood. The scope of services for the original contract included the design of the detention pond facility and the design of the channel improvements and repairs to the existing drop structures located within the channel for the Dry Branch Tributary 1. This supplemental agreement is to provide additional engineering services required for completing the final design of the detention pond facility. The design of the channel repairs and improvements have already been completed and constructed. The goal for the remainder of the design work for the StormWater detention facility is to reduce the frequency of flooding in the vicinity of the intersection of Gattis School Road and Greenlawn Blvd. and to reduce the erosive velocities through Dry Branch Tributary 1. This supplemental contract will provide the additional engineering services required for completing the final design of the detention facility.
