R -03-09-11-10E4 WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock has previously entered into a Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect with Standard Form of Architect's Services ("Agreement") and Supplemental Agreement No. 1, with Page Southerland Page, L.L.P. for the design of the Municipal Office Complex Parking Garage and Plaza and the Civil Engineering on the Senior Activity Center, and WHEREAS, Page Southerland Page, L.L.P. has submitted Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to the Agreement for a change in the scope of services, and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into said Supplemental Agreement No. 2 with Page Southerland Page, L.L.P., Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City Supplemental Agreement No. 2 with Page Southerland Page, L.L.P., a copy of same being attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein for all purposes. The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended. MARTINEZ, City Secretar 2 SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 2 TO "STANDARD FORM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN OWNER AND ARCHITECT WITH STANDARD FORM OF ARCHITECT'S SERVICES" WITH PAGE SOUTHERLAND PAGE, L.L.P FOR MUNICIPAL OFFICE COMPLEX PARKING GARAGE AND PLAZA PROJECT THE STATE OF TEXAS § KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON This amendment to the "Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect with Standard Form of Architect's Services" is made by and between the City of Round Rock, Texas (hereinafter referred to as the "City") and Page Southerland Page, L.L.P. (hereinafter referred to as "PSP"). WHEREAS, the City and PSP executed an agreement entitled "Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect with Standard Form of Architect's Services" (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") on the 23`d day of the month of January, 2003; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the Agreement to provide for additional work in the scope of services, and for additional compensation to PSP; NOW, THEREFORE, premises considered, the City and PSP agree that said Agreement is amended as follows: I. The design criteria for the Municipal Office Complex Parking Garage and Plaza Project has been changed to include large tree wells/planters along the Senior Activity Center and the future City Hall boundaries on the upper level of the parking structure. Such design change has necessitated additional structural engineering services in the amount of $3,000.00. Therefore, Paragraph 1.1.2.3 of the Agreement shall be amended to read as follows: MOC Parking Garage and Plaza Design Project Management $19,500.00 Civil $48,750.00 Architectural $59,550.00 Structural $60, 900.00 Mechanical $13,950.00 Plumbing $14,500.00 Fire Protection $16,700.00 Electrical $18,550.00 Subtotal $252,400.00 D D EXHIBIT II. Article 1.5 of the Agreement shall be amended by adding $3,000.00 to the not -to -exceed sum of $296,900.00 payable under this Agreement, for a total of $299,900.00. The design criteria for the project has changed to include large tree wells and planters. Additional structural engineering is being required to take care of this design.
