WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock desires to retain professional
appraisal services regarding the acquisition of right-of-way for the
Downtown Streets Project, and
WHEREAS, Paul Hornsby & Company has submitted a letter of
agreement to provide said services, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into said letter of
agreement with Paul Hornsby & Company, Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on
behalf of the City a letter of agreement with Paul Hornsby & Company for
appraisal services regarding the acquisition of right-of-way for the
Downtown Streets Project, a copy of said letter of agreement being
attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein for all purposes.
The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of
the date, hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this
Resolution was adopted was posted and that such meeting was open to the
public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and
the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted
upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas
Government Code, as amended.

Approximately 0.60 acre of land improved with a
±2,064 SF single-family residence located at 602
Georgetown Street (northwest corner of
Georgetown Street and Parkway Avenue).
Part To Be Acquired: A triangular shaped area of
land containing ±45 SF, located at the far southeast
corner of the whole property.
Remainder: Approximately 0.599 acre of land
improved with a ±2,064 SF single-family residence
located at 602 Georgetown Street.
2) Whole Property (Parcel 2 - R055975):
Approximately 0.346 acre of land improved with a
±1,371 SF single-family residence located at 609

Fee:
The appraisals will be developed and the reports will
be prepared in conformity with and subject to the
requirements of the Uniform Standards of
Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) of the
Appraisal Foundation and the Code of Professional
Ethics and Standards of Professional Appraisal
Practice of the Appraisal Institute.
We will undertake complete appraisals, the results of
which will be set forth in summary appraisal reports
as defined by Standard Rule 2-2(b), of USPAP.

parcels, the respective fees would be raised to a
mutually agreed amount.

testimony, will be paid monthly, as incurred, at the
following hourly rates:

Staff Appraisers: $125-$200/hour
Research Assistant: $85/hour
Completion: As soon as possible, but not later than 60 days from
authorization.
