KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS:
WHEREAS, pursuant to an election held within the City of Round Rock, Texas (the
"City") on August 9, 1997, the voters within the City approved the adoption of an additional
sales and use tax within the City at the rate of one-half (1/2) of one percent as authorized by
Section 4B, Article 5190.6 Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the proposition and ballot language approved by the voters restricted the
use of such additional sales and use tax for streets, roads, drainage and other transportation
