BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: I. That the school zone on Sunrise Road designated in Chapter 9, Section 9.503, Code of Ordinances (1995 Edition), City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: 9.503 SCHOOL ZONES STREET FROM TO SPEED ZONE SPEED ZONE TIMES Sunrise Road 50' north of Wayne Drive 50' south of Jester Farms Road 20 8:00-9:30 am 3:15-4:45 pm II. A. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith are expressly repealed. B. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions thereof. C. Chief of Public Works Operations Item Summary: Due to Round Rock Independent School District opening PFC Robert P. Hernandez Middle School (formerly Stony Point 9th Grade Center), the school speed zone times need to be longer to accommodate earlier pedestrian traffic. The school zone limits on Sunrise Road would be from 50 feet north of Wayne Drive to 50 feet south of Jester Farms Road. The school zone times would be from 8:OOam to 9:30am and 3:15pm to 4:45pm.
