Agenda Caption: of Ordinances. (First Reading)
Meeting Date: July 14, 2011

Item Summary:
Requests for carnivals within the city limits can be managed through the special events ordinance and follow the
process that is already in place. A separate carnival ordinance is no longer required. This will also allow applicants
to follow one process and have one point of contact rather than submitting two separate applications — one for
carnival and one for special events.
