G-11-11-10-9A1 - 11/10/2011ORDINANCE NO. 6"- to-`!kl AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ROUND ROCK COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, CODIFIED UNDER SECTION 46-8, CODE OF ORDINANCES (2010 EDITION), CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, BY AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP; AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS. WHEREAS, a request has been made to the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas to amend the Future Land Use Map of the General Plan 2020, by changing the designation of 22.7 acres of land, known as the Replat of Calcasieu Lumber Addition, in Round Rock, Williamson County, Texas, being more fully described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, from the Industrial Designation to Public Facilities Designation, and WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the requested change in the Future Land Use Map to the Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and report, and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing concerning the requested change on the 4th day of October 2011, following lawful publication of the notice of said public hearing, and WHEREAS, after considering the public testimony received at such hearing, the Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended that the General Plan 2020 and the Future Land Use Map be amended so that the property described in Exhibit "A" be designated as Public Facilities, and WHEREAS, on the 10th day of November, 2011, after proper notification, the City Council held a public hearing on the requested amendment, and O:\wdox\SCC1nts\0112\ I I04\MUNICIPAL\00236770.
