WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Interior — Bureau of Reclamation has grant funds
available through its 2012 Title XVI Water Reclamation and Reuse Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock wishes to make application for the available funds to
complete the Williamson County Water Reclamation and Reuse Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council designates its City Manager as the City's authorized official
with power to apply for the grant, including making online application, on behalf of the applicant
agency,the City of Round Rock, Texas,Now Therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,TEXAS,
That the City Manager is designated as the authorized official to make application, including
making online application, and is hereby directed to make application for CFDA# 15.504: U.S.
Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, a copy of said Application being attached hereto as

Item Summary:
The U.S. Department of Interior - Bureau of Reclamation is seeking applications for its 2012 Title XVI Water
Reclamation and Reuse Program (R12SF80050). The City's proposal requests$1,126,927 to complete the Williamson
County Water Reclamation and Reuse Project. The City's share of the total project cost is$5,648,541. Construction
of all five phases that will provide reuse water to irrigate Old Settlers Park, Dell Diamond, the higher education
center and other mixed use developments along FM 1460 must be completed by September 30, 2014. Upon
completion,the Reuse Water system will provide up to 13,400 acre feet of reuse water per year. The reuse project
includes expansion of the Brushy Creek Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant; 5.9 miles of reuse water distribution
pipeline; pump stations,and a 1.25 million gallon elevated storage tank.
