4 ROCK, TEXAS, BY AMENDING CHAPTER 36, SUBDIVISIONS, AND
5 CHAPTER 46, ZONING, TO ESTABLISH ON-SITE PUBLIC
6 HEARING NOTIFICATION SIGN FEES.

8 WHEREAS, the City wishes to establish on-site public hearing notification sign fees;
9 Now Therefore
10 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
11 TEXAS,

13 That "Appendix A: Fees, Rates and Charges" to the Code of Ordinances, City of Round
14 Rock, Texas, Chapter 36 - Subdivisions, is hereby amended to read as follows:

36-16 Subdivision fees:
Concept plan and plat fees
Concept plans $500.00 plus
$25.00 per lot
Preliminary plats $500.00 plus
$25.00 per lot
Final plats and replats $500.00 plus
$25.00 per lot
Minor subdivision final plat $250.00
Amending plats $500.00 plus
$25.00 per lot
For amending plats,the$25.00 per lot fee shall not apply if the
requested action is only for a street name change

engineer and approved by the City Engineer

Wireless transmission facility as defined in Sec.40-19 of the
Code;
Area identification sign as defined in Sec.30-9 of the Code.

This fee includes the review of the initial application and, if
necessary,two reviews of amendments in response to staff

Regardless of the foregoing,the total fee from a site plan with
three staff reviews shall not exceed$5,000.00

If additional review cycles are required for either standard or
small project site plan applications due to incomplete plans or plans
that do not fully address comments as determined by the Chair of
the Development Review Committee,an additional review fee shall
be charged for each additional review required
Revision to approved site plan $500.00
Revision fees are required if a change is made to an approved
site plan that requires additional review by members of the
Development Review Committee

4 This Resolution shall take effect 30 days from and after its adoption by the City Council.

7 The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date, hour, place
8 and subject of the meeting at which this Resolution was adopted was posted and that such
9 meeting was open to the public as required by law at all times during which this Resolution and
10 the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally acted upon, all as required by
11 the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, as amended.

Item Summary:
Staff recommends adding a $20 fee for each on-site public hearing notification sign. This fee will cover the
manufacturing cost of the signs. Planning and Development Services applicants will be charged the fee for any
procedure requiring a public hearing. In Chapter 36 (Subdivisions), these procedures include concept plans and
replats. In Chapter 46 (Zoning), these procedures include variances, special exceptions, General Plan map
amendments, zoning map amendments, original zoning, rezoning (including PUDs), and historic overlay
designations.
