I WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted a 2011-2012 Municipal Court Fund Budget, and i WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend said budget in accordance with s the attached proposal, Now Therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: That the 2011-2012 Municipal Court Fund Budget is amended as set forth in k s Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein. (Second Agenda Caption: Reading) Meeting Date: July 26, 2012 F Department: Finance t Staff Person making presentation: Cheryl Delaney 3 Finance Director i Item Summary: The Municipal Court Fund budget is divided into three funds, Child Safety Fund, Building Security Fund, and Technology Fund. Fees are collected on conviction of certain Municipal Court offences with expenditures that are defined by statute. F This amendment will address only the Child Safety Fund these funds are collected from school zone offenses. The Adopted FY 2011-2012 Municipal Court Fund budget provided for $20,000 for expenditures in the Child Safety Fund. Amendment No. 1 to the budget will allocate an additional $99,500 to fund the purchase school crossing =' signals for 10 school zones.
