Section 36-46 of the Subdivision Ordinance allows a landowner to request the vacation of an easement established by an approved plat or by separate instrument. The purpose of the requested vacation is to allow the homeowner additional space for a remodel and additional square footage to an existing single-family residence. The City of Round Rock Utilities and Environmental Services Department has consented to the proposed easement release. The outside third party utility companies (AT&T, Spectrum, ATMOS and ONCOR) have also consented to the proposed easement release.
