Consider executing the Environmental Review Record level Exempt per 24 CFR 56.34 (a) (3) for the Round
Rock Housing Authority 2017 Capital Improvements Fund Grant for operations and administrative expenses
in the amount of $107,842.
In order to achieve HUD's goal of providing a safe, suitable living environment, an Environmental Review
Record (ERR) is required to be conducted for every project that is funded with federal funds. The City
Manager is the Certifying Officer for any project funded with federal funds that are located within the City
limits of the Responsible Entity (Round Rock) regardless of the agency receiving funds. The Round Rock
Housing Authority has received a Capital Improvement Grant from HUD that will be used for management
improvements and operations to include staff saiaries, staff fringe benefits, staff training, staff travel, office
supplies, postage, memberships, maintenance expenses, utilities, telephone, insurance, accounting frees
and legal expenses. The Environmental Review Record (ERR) is a written record of the environmental review
undertaken for each project and shall be available for public review and must contain all of the recommended
formats. The Round Rock Housing Authority Capital Grant 2017 for Operations and Administrative expenses
required the following level of ERR be conducted and executed by the Certifying Officer. Exempt per CFR
58.34 (a) (3).
