Consider executing Quantity Adjustment/Change Order No. 1 with Phoenix 1 Restoration
and Construction, Ltd. for the Stagecoach Inn Relocation Project.
During demolition around the Stagecoach Inn, conditions were uncovered which have
required adjustment to the design. Stone walls will need to be reconstructed which were
initially thought to be in good condition; non -original stone walls are being demolished; and
the roof will be adjusted to the original roof slope. In addition, the base wall construction is
being refined to allow for a more stable condition.
Most significantly, during grade beam excavation on March 15, 2018, it was discovered
that the "bed rock" sits at a lower average depth than what was described in the
geotechnical report for the site. This change order includes the cost of additional concrete
necessary to fill the adjusted depth.
Cost: $28,281.02
