This resolution provides for the extension of Round Rock's extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ)
to include approximately 94 acres released from the ETJ of the City of Georgetown on
December 10, 2013. The property is located on the south side of Westinghouse Road and
to the east of A.W. Grimes Boulevard (FM 1460). An inter -local agreement, which was
approved by both cities, provided for this acceptance of ETJ territory.
The property owners of the 94 acres may now petition the City of Round Rock for
annexation and zoning. An applicant -initiated petition will likely be filed in early 2014 to
incorporate this land into the Avery North PUD.
