Text of Legislative File CM -2018-1865
Consider approving the Second Amendment to the Community Development Block Grant
Agreement between the City of Round Rock and Habitat for Humanity of Williamson
County extending the time for Habitat for Humanity to complete their services from
September 30, 2018 to November 30, 2018.
The Community Development Block Grant Agreement between the City of Round Rock
and Habitat for Humanity was originally approved on March 13, 2017 by CM -2017-1339
and had an expiration date of July 1, 2018. Habitat for Humanity previously requested and
was granted an extension of this agreement until September 30, 2018 by CM -2018-1765.
At this time, Habitat for Humanity is requesting a second time extension in writing and is
asking that the agreement be amended giving them additional time until November 30,
2018 to complete their services. This request is solely for time extension and does not
require any changes to the budget or scope of work. Currently Habitat for Humanity has a
balance of $22,225.91 from the original CDBG award of $44,839.55.
Staff recommends approval of the extension.
