Notice is hereby given of public hearing to be held in City Council Chambers located on the first
floor of City Hall, 221 East Main Street in the City of Round Rock, TX, on January 9, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. by
the Planning and Zoning Commission. Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public
hearing.
Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public hearings. The purpose of the hearings is to
consider public testimony regarding proposed amendments to the Code of Ordinances City of Round
Rock, Texas, 2018, Part III —Zoning and Development Code on the topics listed below. Each topic will be
considered asaseparate item byPlanning and Zoning Commission and will have its own public hearing.
1. Section 2-26 Residential lot and building dimensional standards
* Torevise the regulations regarding encroachment into setbacks.
2. Section 2-9] - Accessory uses and home occupations
w To allow for a short-term permit for 'food trucks' at existing businesses and public facilities.
S. Section 8-7g -Special purpose freestanding sign standards
° Toallow additional types ofbusinesses touse asandwich board sign.
4. Section 1O-2 - Review procedures

To establish that the property owner making an application for a project requiring a public
hearing has the responsibility for posting on-site public notice signs.
5. Section 10'26 - Concept plan
0 To amend the conditions which require the submittal of a subdivision concept plan and to
remove the requirement for apublic hearing.
