TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES:
Notice is hereby given of public hearings to be held in City Council Chambers located on the first
floor of City Hall, 221 East Main Street in the City of Round Rock, TX, on February 14, 2019, at 6:00 p.m.
by the City Council.
Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public hearings. The purpose of the hearings is to
consider public testimony regarding proposed amendments to the Code of Ordinances City of Round
Rock, Texas, 2018, Part III —Zoning and Development Code on the topics listed below. Each topic will be
considered as a separate item by City Council and will have its own public hearing.
1. Section 2-26 - Residential lot and building dimensional standards
• To revise the regulations regarding encroachment into setbacks.
2. Section 2-93 - Accessory uses and home occupations
• To allow for a short-term permit for 'food trucks' at existing businesses and public facilities.
3. Section 8-79 - Special purpose freestanding sign standards
• To allow additional types of businesses to use a sandwich board sign.
4. Section 10-2 - Review procedures
• To establish that the property owner making an application for a project requiring a public
hearing has the responsibility for posting on-site public notice signs.
5. Section 10-26 - Concept plan
• To amend the conditions which require the submittal of a subdivision concept plan.
