Text of Legislative File CM -2019-4044
This Change Order to the contract with Ritter, Botkin Prime Construction Company, Inc. (PCCI)
includes an extension to the sod installation date in the contract. Originally, sod on the playing
fields was to be installed by no later than January 18th, 2019. However, after subcontractor
delays and negotiations surrounding those delays, the City agreed to extend that date to
February 1, 2019. Additional rain delays are not included in this Change Order, but are
expected in the future due to the abnormally wet December/January. Additionally, this Change
Order includes the added cost for the contractor to build a haul road to access the stockpiled
material provided by the City. After a change in subcontractor, the City offered the stockpiled
material to the new subcontractor to offset the increased cost for their services.
The Adult Recreation Complex at Old Settlers Park includes construction of two (2) lighted
recreational softball fields, a small restroom facility, spectator seating and shade, flexible field
space, and parking. This project will serve as the first phase of the Recreation Complex and will
replace the two softball fields currently located in McNeil Park which will be removed as part of
the Nutty Brown Development.
Cost: 16,500.00
