Sheets, City Attorney Date Supplemental Contract Rev.06/16 0199.1817;00418978 84275 ADDENDUM TO EXHIBIT B Engineering Services TASK 4 — Additional Design for Drainage An existing 24" storm drain stub -out in the center of Lisa Rae St. was discovered by the contractor during installation of the project wastewater line. In the interest of public safety and since there is access to the existing storm drain system within the project limits, the City of Round Rock desires like to collect runoff from the new pavement on Lisa Rae and route it to the City's drainage system under Double Creek Dr. Upon the previous direction by the City, the original design for the Lisa Rae St. project did not analyze storm runoff and called for ribbon curb to maintain surface drainage. On February 13, 2019, City staff, the project contractor, and project engineer met onsite to discuss options for the underground storm system. The City requested Halff analyze and design a storm system based on the limits of the proposed Lisa Rae project. The request from the City of Round Rock will require the following additional tasks be performed: (a) Halff will review available previous designs for the storm system in Double Creek Dr and the detention pond at the fire station to determine remaining capacity in the existing 24" RCP stub -out. Drainage basin information that is not available will be assumed based on LiDAR topographical information for the area. Austin Engineering, Inc. (AEI) will provide field survey information to confirm the flow lines and slope of the existing 24" RCP. (b) Engineer shall calculate the resultant runoff from the Lisa Rae St. project improvements per the City of Round Rock drainage criteria. The generated storm flow will be used to size the pipe for connection to the existing 24" RCP and to size the curb inlet. Engineer will create a new plan sheet showing these improvements, provide necessary details, and revise existing plan sheets to eliminate conflicting information. (c) Based on unit prices provided by the contractor, Engineer will provide a cost estimate for the additional work. ADDENDUM TO EXHIBIT D Fee Schedule Compensation for the Supplemental services shall be paid by the CITY OF ROUND ROCK to the ENGINEER for all services required for work in accordance with the previously executed Lisa Rae Street Improvements agreement dated 5124/2018. In 1984, Lisa Rae Drive, Joyce Lane, and Ray Berglund Boulevard were involuntary annexed into the City of Round Rock. In the early 2000's, bonds were passed to perform improvements on these three streets; however, during construction funding ran short and only Joyce Lane and Ray Berglund Boulevard were constructed. Per the annexation agreement, Lisa Rae Drive remained a private drive. In October 2012, residents along Lisa Rae Drive approached the City concerning maintenance to Lisa Rae Drive. Residents asked the City if a maintenance agreement could be entered into in order to construct a new street similar to Ray Berglund Boulevard and Joyce Lane. The city determined that the construction of a new street could only be possible if all property owners donated the required Right -of -Way (ROW) needed to construct Lisa Rae Drive. After several discussions with the six residents along Lisa Rae Drive, they all agreed to donate the required 25 -feet of property for the necessary ROW. On May 11, 2018, the City executed the documents needed to acquire the donated ROW necessary to construct Lisa Rae Drive. The Lisa Rae Street Improvements project consists of approximately 700 linear feet of new 20 -foot wide asphalt pavement with ribbon curb; approximately 500 linear feet of new 8 -inch water line; and approximately 1,000 linear feet of new 8 -inch wastewater line.
