(PCCI) includes the following items outside of the original scope of work. The specified scoreboard required more power than originally designed for. In order to eliminate voltage drop to the scoreboard and to ensure proper functionality, larger gauge wire was required at an added cost. Additionally, during excavation of the parking lot, the contractor encountered a large electrical conduit. After exploration and discussions with Oncor, it was determined that this conduit is a primary service line serving the Cy Young Baseball Complex. In order to assure proper cover above the power line, the contractor will need to lower the line. Several options were explored, but the best value to the City is to install a line adjacent to the existing line and repull the wire. This will decrease the downtime at the Cy Young Complex, as well as be the most cost-efficient option. The Adult Recreation Complex at Old Settlers Park includes construction of two (2) lighted recreational softball fields, a small restroom facility, spectator seating and shade, flexible Feld space, and parking. This project will serve as the first phase of the Recreation Complex and will replace the two softball fields currently located in McNeil Park which will be removed as part of the Nutty Brown Development.
