3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE II, SECTION 2-19,
4 CODE OF ORDINANCES (2018 EDITION), CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
5 TEXAS, REGARDING CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS; AND PROVIDING
6 FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE AND REPEALING CONFLICTING
7 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS.

9 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
10 TEXAS:
11 I.
12 That Chapter 2, Section 2-19, Code of Ordinances (2010 Edition), City of Round
13 Rock, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
14 Sec. 2-19. Regular meetings.

16 Under authority of section 3.09 of the city Charter, the city council has designated the following days and
17 times to conduct its twe-regular monthly meetings:

19 (1) Except for the months of September and December, the-two regular monthly
20 meetings of the city council shall be held on the second and fourth Thursdays of
21 each month at 6:00 p.m.

23 (2) During the month of December, the-two regular monthly meetings of the city council
24 shall be held on the first Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and the third Thursday at 5:00 p.m.

26 �3) During the month of September, three regular monthly meetings of the city council shall be
27 held on the second, third and fourth Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.

30 II.
31 A. That this Ordinance shall become effective after its passage.
32 B. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith are
33 expressly repealed.
34 C. The invalidity of any section or provision of this ordinance shall not
35 invalidate other sections or provisions thereof.

I De The City Council hereby finds and declares that written notice of the date,
2 hour, place and subject of the meeting at which this Ordinance was adopted was posted
3 and that such meeting was open to the public as required by law at all times during which
4 this Ordinance and the subject matter hereof were discussed, considered and formally
5 acted upon, all as required by the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government
6 Code, as amended.

9 Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate
so days was dispensed with.
