Old Settlers Park Adult Recreation Complex
Change Order#4 Summary
Date: 08/02/2019
Change Order #4 to the contract with PCCI includes changes to the current phase of construction. These
changes include.
Extend Infield at Gates: The plans call for sod at the main entrances to the field. This sod will be
subjected to constant wear and tear and will subsequently die back_ This item removes the sod from
this area and extends the infield surface to this entrance gate. This will be easier to maintain and will
create a more attractive appearance at the fields.
Cost: $2,112.00
Convert Sodded area to Decomposed Granite: This area is located outside the playing fields and is
directly adjacent to the dugouts. This area will be converted into a warm up area, with artificial turf.
Converting this area to decomposed granite now will allow PARD team members to install artificial turf
prior to the complex opening.
Cost: $1,006.00
Raise Manhole: There was a discrepancy with the plans showing final grading in this area. The manhole
was installed 6" too low and needs to be raised to make the flex space level.
Cost: $4,810.76
Revised Pond Grading: While excavating the detention pond, an Oncor line was located. Rather than
spend the extra money to relocate the Oncor line, it was determined to be more feasible to regrade the
detention pond.
Cost: $13,907.85
Trench Drain Revision: A revised grade beam detail caused the trench drain to be deep than originally
shown in the plans. This caused a conflict with the wet utilities and they had to be lowered.
TOTAL: $24,518.61
