SUPPLEMENTAL CONTRACT NO. 2
TO CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES
FIRM: RODRIGUEZ TRANSPORTATION GROUP, INC. ("Engineer")

PROJECT: Gattis School Road (Segment 3)
This Supplemental Contract No. 2 to Contract for Engineering Services is made by and between
the City of Round Rock, Texas, hereinafter called the "City" and Rodriguez Transportation
Group, Inc., hereinafter called the"Engineer".
WHEREAS, the City and Engineer executed a Contract for Engineering Services, hereinafter
called the "Contract", on the 22nd day of March, 2018 for the Gattis School Road (Segment 3)
Project in the amount of$1,013,037.45; and
WHEREAS,the City and Engineer executed Supplemental Contract No. 1 on February 14, 2019
to amend the scope of services and to increase the compensation by $117,447.94 to a total of
$1,130,485.39; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the Contract to modify the provisions for the
scope of services and to increase the compensation by$89,780.42 to a total of$1,220,265.81;
NOW THEREFORE, premises considered, the City and the Engineer agree that said Contract
is amended as follows:
I.
Article 2, Engineering Services and Exhibit B, Engineering Services shall be amended as set
forth in the attached Addendum to Exhibit B. Exhibit C, Work Schedule shall be amended as set
forth in the attached Addendum to Exhibit C.
II.
Article 4, Compensation and Exhibit D, Fee Schedule shall be amended by increasing by
$895780.42 the lump sum amount payable under the Contract for a total of $1,220,265.81, as
shown by the attached Addendum to Exhibit D.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City and the Engineer have executed this Supplemental
Contract in duplicate.

ADDENDUM TO EXHIBIT B
Engineering Services
The additional Scope of Work to be performed by the Engineer under this Supplemental Contract
is described as follows:
• Extend ROW data research and parcel preparation approximately 500 feet south along
Windy Park.
• Extend SUE services (QL-B) approximately 400 feet south along Windy Park.
• Extend field surveys approximately 500 feet south along Windy Park.
• Additional Roadway Design Services to update plan sheets at the western project limits
and to include added Plan and Profile sheets for Windy Park and Cottonwood Ct.
• Additional Roadway Design Services for five (5) driveways along Windy Park
• Additional Drainage Design Services to update plan sheets at the western project limits
and to capture revised Windy Park alignment
• Additional Drainage Design Services to include a cast-in-place retaining wall at the
drainage channel at the corner of Gattis School Road and Double Creek.
• Additional Miscellaneous Design Services to include the development of additional
traffic control phases for the construction of the revised Windy Park intersection and
phasing of Windy Park construction.
• Additional Miscellaneous Design Services to include revisions to the Clay Madsen
Recreation Center driveway access and associated parking lot striping modifications.
FC 130—Right-of-Way Data/Utilities
A. Right of Way Maps
1. The Engineer shall obtain information on existing ROW and property information, as
defined in the Contract, for the revisions to Windy Park
2. Generate ROW plans and reconcile to parcels for the additional ROW acquisition for
the revisions to Windy Park.
B. Utility Locations
1. The Engineer shall gather QL-B data, as defined in the Contract, for the revisions to
Windy Park.
C. Boundary Surveying and Parcel Preparation
1. The Engineer shall perform the tasks, as defined in the Contract, for the revisions to
Windy Park. The total number of ROW parcels for acquisition will be increased by 1
for a total of 38 parcels. Two (2) existing parcels documents, identified as Parcels 1
and 2 in the preliminary ROW maps will have to be updated.
FC 150—Field Surveying and Photogrammetry
A. Field Surveying
1. The Engineer shall gather design survey data, as defined in the Contract, for the
revisions to Windy Park.
B. Digital Planimetric Mapping (DGN) and Digital Terrain Modeling (DTM)
1. The Engineer shall prepare DGN and DTM files, as defined in the Contract, for the
revisions to Windy Park.

FC 160—Roadway Design
A. Roadway Plans
1. Various Plan Sheets: The Engineer shall update 60%plan sheets impacted by the
Gattis School Road alignment revision at the western project limits.
2. Plan and Profile: The Engineer shall develop additional plan sheets and associated
cross sections for Windy Park and Cottonwood Ct.
3. Driveways: The Engineer shall develop additional plan sheets for five (5) additional
driveways along Windy Park.
FC 161 —Drainage
A. Drainage Plans
1. Various Plan Sheets: The Engineer shall update 60%plan sheet impacted by the
Gattis School Road alignment revision at the west project limits.
2. Gattis School Road: The Engineer shall develop additional sheets for revised storm
sewer line along Gattis School Road in front of the Clay Madsen Rec Center.
3. Windy Park/Cottonwood Ct: The Engineer shall develop drainage sheets to tie new
inlet and storm sewer lines to existing storm sewer system along Cottonwood Ct.
Engineer shall analyze the existing system to ensure adequate design. No
improvements to the existing system are proposed.
4. Clay Madsen Recreation Center: Engineer shall develop grading plan sheet for site
plan revisions. Engineer shall analyze existing water quality basin and outfall culvert
to determine if additional improvements are required.
5. Double Creek Rd. retaining wall design—Engineer shall design and detail a cast-in-
place cantilevered retaining wall at the corner of Gattis School and Double Creek to
contain the design storm in the drainage channel. Approximate size of retaining wall
—45' long x 9' high. The Engineer shall develop: retaining wall layout showing plan
and elevation; 4 develop details, cross sections, and notes; quantities and estimate.
FC 163—Miscellaneous
A. Traffic Control Plan
1. Traffic Control Plan: The Engineer shall develop additional details required for the
construction for Windy Park, Cottonwood Ct., and the revised intersection of Windy
Park at Gattis School Road.
2. Clay Madsen Recreation Center: The Engineer shall develop additional details
required for the access modifications to the recreation center and associated parking
lot striping revisions.
