TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES:
Notice is hereby given of public hearings to be held in City Council Chambers located on the first
floor of City Hall, 221 East Main Street in the City of Round Rock, TX, on October 2, 2019, at 6:00 p.m.
by the Planning and Zoning Commission. Interested parties may appear and be heard at the public
hearings.
The purpose of the hearings is to consider public testimony regarding proposed amendments to the
Code of Ordinances City of Round Rock, Texas, 2018, Part III — Zoning and Development Code on the
topics listed below. Each topic will be considered as a separate item by Planning and Zoning Commission
and will have its own public hearing.
1. Sections 10-34—Approval Procedure; and 10-45—Site Plan Review
• To revise the procedures for the 30-day extension period and to include requirements listed
in the site development packet
2. Section 4-95—Subdivision Improvement Construction Permits
• To revise the application process for subdivision design and construction
3. Sections 2-13, 2-14, 2-15, 2-16, 2-17, 2-18, 2-19, 2-20, 2-21, 2-22,and 2-23—Building Materials
Amendments
• To revise building materials in residential districts and to revise the lot composition
requirements in the SF-3 district
4. Sections 2-32(C-1), 2-33(C-1a) and 2-34(C-2)—Building Materials Amendments
• To revise building materials in commercial districts
5. Section 8-151—Amendment to Electrical Code
• To revise electrical code standards and specifications
6. Sections 2-91—Supplementary Use Standards
• To revise the supplementary use standards for car wash facilities
