Conversion of irrigation controller to solar: After numerous delays with Oncor, it was decided that
solar power would be the best option to power the irrigation controller in this application. This was a
cost savings to the project, as well as a future cost savings on electrical bills.
Cost: ($14,400.00)
Change Driveway to concrete: The City decided to upgrade the Creek Apartments driveway from
asphalt to grooved concrete. Ultimately, this is a better, safer surface type for the apartment driveway.
Cost: $19,170.00
10' wall Quantity Adjustment: Engineer and contractor verified quantity adjustments of as -built wails
associated with the box culvert extension.
Cost: $5,600.00
8' wail Quantity Adjustment: Engineer and contractor verified quantity adjustments of as -built walls
associated with the box culvert extension.
Cost: $5,200.00
6' wall Quantity Adjustment: Engineer and contractor verified quantity adjustments of as -built walls
associated with the box culvert extension.

water manhole beneath Georgetown St. However, there are exposed manholes along the trail (both
this section of trail and existing sections of trail) that are exposed, so this item was removed from the
scope to remain consistent along the trail.

This item includes all work associated with Change Order #2. This work includes converting
the irrigation controller to solar power and conversion of the Creek Apartment Drive surface
material to concrete from asphalt. Additionally, this includes final wall and curlex material
quantity adjustments associated with Change Directive #1. Finally, it includes deducting a
decorative mortared rock wall from a manhole under Georgetown Street since no other
manholes along the trail have this rock treatment.
This project includes approximately one mile of a 10' wide concrete trail starting at Georgetown
St. and connecting to the existing trail near A.W. Grimes Blvd. This portion of the trail will
include a pedestrian underpass at Lance Ln. near the Creek Apartments and a pedestrian
bridge over the drainage ditch feeding Brushy Creek.
Cost: $13,005.00
