Section 10-33 of the Subdivision Ordinance allows a landowner to request a nullification of an easement established by an approved plat or by separate instrument. The purpose of the requested vacation is to allow the homeowner additional space for the construction of a pool and the associated deck. For informational purposes, this is the same lot that a code amendment was initiated for to eliminate the 5-foot rear setback requirement for homes that do not abut other single-family lots. The City of Round Rock Utilities and Environmental Services Department has consented to the proposed vacation. Staff recommends approval of the easement vacation.
