quick and easy egress in the event of an emergency.
- Increase quantity of pedestrian gates from one to two providing an additional access gate to the
soccer fields near the middle of the CMRC parking lot, reducing pinch points for pedestrian access.
- Add an additional 15 linear feet of 4' chain link fence. This allows to completion of the 4' chain link
fence to be completed per plan taking into account existing field conditions.
The Clay Madsen Recreation Center Fencing Project includes the installation of fence throughout
CMRC's outdoor facilities. A proposed 4' fence with maintenance gates and a pedestrian gate
around the perimeter of CMRC Soccer Fields will act as a protective barrier for stray balls and secure
the area when fields are not in use. A 10' fence will direct traffic from inside CMRC to the tennis
courts as the tennis courts transition to a members only area. A 6' fence and gate on the north side
of CMRC will screen and provide a secure team member storage area.
