Type: City Manager Item Governing Body: City Manager Approval Agenda Date: 10/16/2020 Dept Director: Michael Thane, Utilities and Environmental Services Director Cost: Indexes: Attachments: Easement Release —Quick, MAP Department: Utilities and Environmental Services Text of Legislative File CM-2020-287 In anticipation of the McNeil Road extension project, the Utilities & Environmental Services Department coordinated with our legal team to obtain an easement from Darren and Rebecca Quick. The easement was going to be used for a new wastewater line extension that benefited the property, and those adjacent properties. After completion of McNeil Road, and the installation of the new waterline, it was determined that the wastewater line could be installed within the right-of-way acquired during the road extension. After speaking with Mr. Quick to notify him of the change, he requested that the easement be released. Staff recommends approval as the easement is no longer required. City of Round Rock Page 1 of 1
