The easement was going to be used for a new wastewater line extension that benefited the property, and those adjacent properties. After completion of McNeil Road, and the installation of the new waterline, it was determined that the wastewater line could be installed within the right-of-way acquired during the road extension. After speaking with Mr. Campbell to notify him of the change, he requested that the easement be released. Staff recommends approval as the easement is no longer required.
