Text of Legislative File CM-2021-015
The City is requesting a 3-month extension on its existing armored car service contract to allow needed
time to complete negotiations with vendors from RFP 20-026 conducted in fall 2020. The originally
selected vendor would not agree to important legal terms in their agreement; therefore, additional time is
needed to work with a different vendor.
Armored car service is widely considered the safest way to transport the City's funds from one location to
another. Brinks picks up deposits from various City locations and then delivers the funds to the City's
depository bank, JPMorgan Chase Bank.
Cost: $3,600.00
