R-2021-035 WHEREAS, the City of Round Rock has duly advertised for bids to purchase generator installation, preventative maintenance and repair services; and WHEREAS, Section 252.043 of the Texas Local Government Code requires a city to award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder or to the bidder who provides goods or services at the best value for the city based on criteria set forth in §252.043(b); and WHEREAS, the City has determined that Austin Welder and Generator Service, Inc. will provide goods and services at the best value for the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the bid of Austin Welder and Generator Service, Inc., Now Therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City an Agreement for Purchase of Generator Installation, Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services with Austin Welder and Generator Service, Inc., a copy of said Agreement being attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein.
