Grimes to SH 130 This Supplemental Contract No. 3 to Contract for Engineering Services is made by and between the City of Round Rock, Texas, hereinafter called the "City" and Seiler Lankes Group, LLC, hereinafter called the "Engineer". WHEREAS, the City and Engineer executed a Contract for Engineering Services, hereinafter called the "Contract", on the 14th day of February, 2019 for the University Boulevard — A.W. Grimes to SH 130 Project in the amount of $342,637.75; and WHEREAS, the City and Engineer executed Supplemental Contract No. 1 on April 23, 2020 to amend the scope of services and to increase the compensation by $102,548.46 to a total of $445,186.21; and WHEREAS, the City and Engineer executed Supplemental Contract No. 2 on February 22, 2021 to amend the scope of services and to increase the compensation by $25,248.05 to a total of $470,434.26; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the Contract to modify the provisions for the scope of services and to increase the compensation by $16,317.00 to a total of $486,751,26; NOW THEREFORE, premises considered, the City and the Engineer agree that said Contract is amended as follows: I. Article 2, Engineering Services and Exhibit B. Engineering Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached Addendum to Exhibit B. The engineering services to be performed include the updating of the existing 2014 Williamson County plans to currently available City of Round Rock and TxDOT manuals, guidelines and standards as applicable. No. 10059100 Inland Geodetics, LLC (inland) is pleased to submit our proposal for professional land surveying services related to the above referenced project. Our proposal is to generate topographic design data for an area of along the Impoundment lake being 700'X1600' as depicted In email exhibit dated 4 Jan 2021. The area will encompass topographic survey before and after excavation activities for capacity expansion within the lake structure. Below Is a specific list of our proposed Scope of Services and estimated costs. SCOPE OF SERVICES A. Topographic/Engineering Design Survey l . inland will recover, verify, or establish control monuments at strategic locations to efficiently gather the needed data. The values will be relative to NAD 83 Texas State Plane Coordinates, Central Zone, 4203 (scaled to surface values). A "combined scale factor" will be derived for the total site for coordinate conversions to surface values. Vertical Datum will be GPS derived Orthometric heights and projected through the length of the project. 2. Inland will collect spot elevations and grade breaks along the project route at Intervals conducive to precise DTM generation. The data will Include drainage features, trees (8" and up dbh) and any Improvements within the defined area. Inland will collect limited data subsurface (bathymetric) within 50 of the water's edge. Inland will generate a 1 foot contour interval DTM file of the project area. Significant excavation of silt could result In seeking of additional fees for data acquisition. 3. Inland will utilize the data collected along the Project corridor In the Field Survey to produce an Microstatlon 21), 3D, TIN, DAT, and ASCII point file. Survey field notes and supporting electronic data will be made available upon request or as stated above. The estimated lump sum fee for the above scope of services Is: $16,317.00 Inland anticipates that this project will be delivered on or before 4 weeks from NTP. The estimated fee proposed above are based on personnel time required to perform the described Scope of Services. Additional time requirements resulting from project scope changes, weather delays, access issues, plan revisions, field recovery of or discrepancies of control provided wilt be considered reasonable cause for us to seek additional compensation for services not Included in these amounts. This project involves rehabilitation of the two existing lanes and construction of two additional lanes with associated medians and turn lanes to support a four lane divided facility. This project is listed in the City's 2017 Transportation Master Plan. This Supplemental Work Authorization is necessary to pay for surveying work required for the permitting under the Upper Brushy Creek (UBC) Water Control and Improvement District (WCID). The area of the inundation easement must be surveyed before and after the excavation takes place to document the amount of material that was excavated to ensure compliance with the permit. The original contract was for $342,637.75. Previous Supplemental No. 1 added $102,548.46 and Supplemental No. 2 added $25,248.05. Supplemental No. 3 will add $16,317.00 for a new total cost of $486,751.26.
