This Quantity Adjustment/Change Order (QA/CO) No. 1 is for the construction services required for the
Black Street to Stone Street Wastewater Extension project. The project included installation of new 12-inch
and 8-inch wastewater lines, manholes, and associated wastewater service connections.
The proposed wastewater extension provides wastewater service to two city blocks in downtown Round
Rock. The project area included the alley south of Main Street between Stone Street and Black Street and
along Stone Street and McNeil Road.
On January 20, 2021, the department received seven bids for this project. Patriot Underground, LLC was
the low bid with a total bid of $97,774. QA/CO No. 1 is for manhole coating, driveway removal and haul
off, connecting to existing manholes, and bid item adjustments. OA/CO No. 1 is in the amount of $28,132
which increased the contract price to $125,906.
