Consider executing a Construction Change Order for CDBG Community Housing Repair and Rehabilitation
Program Contract Agreement with BR General Contractors, LLC for property at 612 Spring Street in the
amount of $2,100.00. This change order allows BR General Contractors, LLC to complete the following
work write up items:
1.7: Outdoor -replace A/C unit with similar sized new modern unit
1.8: Outdoor -Add code required disconnect for A/C unit
1.9: Outdoor -Add service GFCi outlet near AC unit (within loft of A/C unit)
Description for additional work:
Remove existing wire for HVAC unit, upgrade new 40 feet of upgraded wire for new 30 amp service, install
new two pole 30 amp breaker finish wiring directly to HVAC unit to provide service.
The Home Repair Program assists low-income homeowners with an initial CDBG grant up to $25,000 for
substantial repairs such as roofing, plumbing, and electrical work. The program does not address cosmetic
improvements.
Home Repair Contracts may be amended if a change order is needed to complete any of the items in the
work write up if the total change orders do not exceed 25% of the original contract. The updated total,

including the necessary change order, may then exceed that initial $25,000 cap.
