STATE OF TEXAS ) COUNPY OF WILLIAMSON) CITY OF ROUND ROCK ) ORDINANCE NO. 103 8 6 �. AN ORDINANCE ARMING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES, SAID PROPERTY BEING ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE PRESENT CITY LIMITS AND BEING FULLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS HEREIN- AFTER SET OUP. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CTPY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: 1. That the petition of The Texas Highway Department filed with the Mayor of Round Rock, Texas, on March 5, 1971, for annexation to the City of Round Rock, Texas, the hereinafter described property which is contiguous and adjacent to the present city limits and is (less than 4 mile ( ose half milt} in width, and upon which less than three qualified voters reside, and upon which petition a hearing was by the Mayor and City Council this day held, is hereby granted. 2. That the hereinafter described property be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Round Rock, Texas, for municipal purposes and that the present corporate limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas, are hereby extended to embrace the said property and territory, which is more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a point 200 feet right of and at right angles to Engineer's Centerline Station 1172+20, said point being in the West Right of Way line of Interstate Highway No. 35 and also being in the north city limits line of the City of Round Rock, Texas; THENCE N 2° 05.4' W, a distance of 707.1 feet; THENCE along a curve to the left hiving a radius of 523.0 feet; a distance of 331.2 feet; THENCE along a curve to the right having a radius of 766.2 feet, a distance of 970.4 feet; THENCE along a curve to the left having a radius of 523.0 feet; a distance of 331.2 feet; THENCE N 2 05.4' W, a distance of 187.1 feet; THENCE along a curve to the left having a radius of 1859.9 feet, a distance of 221.3 feet; THENCE N. 87 54.6' E along,a line that passes through I. H. 35 Engineer's Centerline Station 1145+$0 at 226.5 feet, in all a distance of 426.5 feet; THENCE 8 2 05.4' 8, a distance of 354.5 feet; THENCE along a curve to the left having a radius of 1095.9 feet, a distance of 398.7 feet; THENCE 8 22 56' 8, a distance of 406.0 feat; THENCE 8 14 56.3' W, a distance of 493.3 feet; THENCE along a curve to the left having a radius of 1095.9 feet, a distance of 398.7 feet; THENCE S 2 05.4' 8, a distance of 654.5 feet; THENCE 8 87 54.6' W, a distance of 400.0 feet to the place of BEGINNING. 3. That the (property owners) fishabitente4the territory hereby annexed by the City of Round Rock, Texas shall in all respeete be on equal footing -with the (property owners) (nbabjtant) shall be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the City of Round Rock. 4. That if any section, subsection, word, sentence or phrase of this ordinance is held invalid, it shall not affect the remaining part of this ordinance. 5. The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to file a certified copy of this ordinance, together with a copy of such petition, in the office of the County Clerk of Williamson County, Texas. 6.
