AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF
ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES, SAID PROPERTY
BEING ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE PRESENT CITY LIMITS
AND BEING FULLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS HEREIN-
AFTER SET OUT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
1.
That a petition filed by the Round Rock Independent School
District with the Mayor of Round Rock, Texas on January 21, 1972,
for annexation to the City of Round Rock, Texas the hereinafter
described property which is contiguous and adjacent to the present
City Limits ;. and upon which less than three qualified voters reside,
and upon which petition a hearing was by the Mayor and City Council
this day held, is hereby granted.
2.
That the hereinafter described property be, and the same is
hereby, annexed to the City of Round Rock, Texas, for municipal
purposes and that the present corporate limits of the City of Round
Rock, Texas, are hereby extended to embrace the said property and
territory of 47.914 acres of land, in Williamson County, Texas and
being part of the J, M. Harrell Survey, which is more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
TRACT I. 43.00 acres of land out of the J. M. Harrell Survey
in Williamson County, Texas, a part of that certain three tracts
conveyed to Willie Hester by Paul Hester, et ux, by deed recorded
in Volume 236, page 372, of the Deed Records of Williamson County,
Texas:
BEGINNING at an iron stake set in the South R.O.W. line of FM Hwy
620 for the northeast corner of the tract herein described from

which the relocated corner of that certain 24 acre tract conveyed to
Willie Hester by Paul Hester, et ux, by deed recorded in Volume 236,
page 372, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, bears S 88
48' E 60.87 feet;
THENCE S 8 29' E parallel to the occupies east line of the said Hester
24 acres amd 18.35 acre tract, 1928.6 feet to an iron stake set for the
southeast corner of this tract;
THENCE S 81 35' W 988.17 feet to an iron stake set for the southwest
corner of this tract;
THENCE N 8 23' W parallel to the occupied west line of the Willie
Hester 43 acre tract, 1740.92 feet to an iron stake set in the north
line of the said Mester 43 acres and the south line of that certain
4.54 acre tract conveyed to Austin White Lime Co. by deed recorded in
Volume 428, page 516, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas,
for the most westerly northwest corner of this tract;
THENCE with the south line of the said 4.54 acres and the north line of
the said Hester 43 acre tract, S 86 46' E 358.8 feet to an iron stake
at the southeast corner of the 'said 4.54 acres and the northeast corner
of the said Hester 43 acres, for the inter corner of this tract;
THENCE with the east line of the said 4.54 acre tract and the west line
of the said Hester 24 acre tract, N 9' 06' W 475.65 feet to an iron
stake in the south line of FM Highway 620 at the northeast corner of
the said 4.54 acres and the northwest corner (relocated) of the said
Hester 24 acres, for the most northerly northwest corner of this tract;
THENCE with the curving south line of the said highway, the radius of
which is 999.61 feet, to the left and arc distance of 462.49 feet, the
chord of which bears S 75 31' E 459.35 feet to a concrete monument at
point of tangency of said curve, for an angle point in this tract;
THENCE continuing with the south line of the said highway, S 88 48'
E 219.35 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING, containing 43.00 acres of
land.
TRACT II. 4.482 acres of land out of the J. M. Harrell Survey,
Williamson County, Texas, a part of that certain 4.54 acre tract
conveyed to Austin White Lime co. by deed recorded in Volume 428,
page 516, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas;
BEGINNING AT an iron stake in the south R.O.W. line FM Highway 620 at
the northwest corner of that certain 4.54 acre tract conveyed to Austin
White Lime Co. by deed recorded in Volume 428, page 516, of the Deed
Records of Williamson County, Texas, being also the relocated northeast
corner of that 15 7/8 acre tract conveyed to Willie Hester by Ezra Pratt,
et al, by deed recorded in Volume 320, page 48, of the Deed Records of
Williamson County, Texas for the northwest corner of the tract herein
described;
THENCE with the curving south line of the said highway, the radius of
which is 905.0 feet, and the north line of the said Austin White Lime
Co. tract, to the right an arc distance of 42.3 feet, the chord of which
bears S 62 56' E 42.3 feet to a stake at the point of tangency of said
curve, for an angle point in this tract;

north line of the said 4.54 acres, S 61 35' E 225.5 feet to a concrete
monument at the point of curve to the left, the radius of which is 999.61
feet, for an angle point in this tract;
THENCE with the curving south line of the said highway and the north
line of the said 4.54 acre tract, to the left an arc distance of 14.7
feet, the chord of which bears S 62 02' E 14.7 feet to an iron stake
at the northeast corner of the said Austin White Lime Co. 4.54 acre tract,
for the northeast corner of this tract and the relocated northwest
corner of that certain 24 acre tract conveyed to Williw Hester by Paul
Hester, et ux, by deed recorded in Volume236, page 372, of the Deed
Records of Williamson County, Texas;
THENCE with the east line of the said 4.54 acre tract and the west
line of the said Hester 24 acres, S 9 06' R 475.65 feet to an iron
stake at the southeast corner of the said 4.54 acres, for the southeast
corner of this tract;
THENCE with the south line of the said 4.54 acre tract, N 86' 46' W
358.98 feet to an iron stake set for the southwest corner of this tract;
THENCE N 8 23' W 316.32 feet to a point in the west line of the said
4.54 acres and the east line of the said Willie Hester 15 7/8 acre
tract, for a corner of this tract;
THENCE with the line between the said Hester 15 7/8 acres and the
Austin White Lime Co. 4.54 acre tract, N 16 26'E 281.25 feet to the
PLACE OF BEGINNING, CONTAINING 4.482 acres of land.
PLUS 0.432 acre of land out of the J. M. Harrell Survey, Williamson
County, Texas, a part of that certain 15 7/8 acre tract conveyed to
Willie Hester by Ezra Pratt, et al, by deed recorded in Volume 320,
page 48, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas;
BEGINNING at an iron stake in the south R.O.W. line of FM Highway 620,

THENCE with the west line of the said Austin White Lime Co. tract and

feet to a point for the most southerly corner of this tract;
THENCE N 8 23' W 320.26 feet to an iron stake set in the curving south
R.O.W. line of FM Highway 620, the radius of which is 905.0 feet, for

THENCE with the curving south line of the said highway, to the right
and arc distance of 134.85 feet, the chord of which bears S 69 33'
E 134.72 feet, to the PLACE OF BIGINNING, containing 0.432 acres of
land.

That the property owners of the territory hereby annexed by the
City of Round Rock, Texas shall in all respects be on equal footing
with the property owners shall be bound by the acts, ordinances, re-
solutions and regulations of the City of Round Rock.

That if any section, subsection, word, sentence or phrase of
this ordinance is held invalid, it shall not affect the remaining
part of this ordinance.
The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to file
a certified copy of this ordinance, together with a copy of such
petition, in the Office of the County Clerk of Williamson County,
Texas.

north line of the said 4.54 acres, S 61 35' E 225.5 feet to a concrete
monument at the point of curve to the left, the radius of which is 999.61
feet, for an angle point in this tract;
THENCE with the curving south line of the said highway and the north
line of the said 4.54 acre tract, to the left an arc distance of 14.7
feet, the chord of which bears S 62 02' E 14.7 feet to an iron stake
at the northeast corner of the said Austin White Lime Co. 4.54 acre tract,
for the northeast corner of this tract and the relocated northwest
corner of that certain 24 acre tract conveyed to Williw Hester by. Paul
Hester, et ux, by deed recorded in Volume236, page 372, of the Deed
Records of Williamson County, Texas;
THENCE with the east line of the said 4.54 acre tract and the west
line of the said Hester 24 acres, S 9 06' R 475.65 feet to an iron
stake at the southeast corner of the said 4.54 acres, for the southeast

BEGINNING at an iron stake in the south R.O.W. line of FM Highway 620,
at the relocated northeast corner of that certain 15 7/8 acre tract
