O-72-400 - 10/5/1972TEXAS: ORDINANCE NO. 400 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, BY RESCINDING SECTION 9.121 AND BY AMENDING SECTION 10.101 FOR THE PURPOSE OF DELETING MULTI- FAMILY DWELLINGS FROM ZONING DISTRICTS B -1 and B -2. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, (1) Section 9.121 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Round Rock, Texas, adopted on the 2nd day of October, 1969 is hereby rescinded, cancelled, set aside and held for nought. (2) Section 10.101 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Round Rock, Texas, adopted the 2nd day of October, 1969, is hereby rescinded, cancelled, set aside and held for nought. In lieu of and in substitution for said rescinded Section 10.101 of such Zoning Ordinance, it is hereby Ordained by the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, that Section 10101 shall hereafter reads as follows: Sec. 10.101. Any use permitted in the B -1 General Business District, save and except multi - family dwellings. Whereas an emergency is apparent for the immediate preservation of order, good government and the general public safety and welfare, this ordinance shall become effective and applicable immediately upon its passage and it is accordingly so ordained.
