AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING 4.5 ACRES OUT OF THE P. A. HOLDER SURVEY,
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, TO THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, FOR
MUNICIPAL PURPOSES, SAID PROPERTY BEING ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS
TO THE PRESENT CITY LIMITS AND BEING FULLY DESCRIBED BY METES
AND BOUNDS AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Round Rock,
Texas:
WHEREAS, a petition was filed by Alfred D. Hughes, with the
Mayor of the City of Round Rock, Texas, on September 8, 1973, for
annexation to the City of Round Rock, Texas, the nereinafter
described property, which is contiguous and adjacent to the present
City Limits of the City of Round Rock, and upon which less than
three qualified voters reside, and upon which petition a nearing was
neld by the Mayor and City Council on the 25th day of October,
1973; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Round Rock deems it
advisable to annex said hereinafter described property, said petition
for annexation is hereby granted.
Therefore, the hereinafter described property shall be, and the
same is hereby annexed to the City of Round Rock, Texas, for municipal
purposes, and that the present corporate limits of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, are hereby extended to embrace the said property
and territory of that certain tract of land containing 4.5 acres
out of the P. A. Holder Survey, which is more particularly described
by metes ano bounds as follows:
BEING 4,5 acres out of and a part of the P. A. Molder Survey,
Austract No. 297, Wiil Cou^tiy, Texas.

Texas, which map or plat thereof - ecorda:: in Vol. 2, Page

That the property owners of the territory hereby annexed
by the City of Round Rock, Texas, shall in all respects, be en-
titled to the same rights, privileges, benefits and protection
as other property owners located within the City Limits of the
City of Round Rock, Texas, and shall also be bound by the acts,
ordinances, resolutions and regulations governing the City of
Round Rock, Texas.
That if any section, subsection, word, sentence or phrase
of this ordinance is held invalid, it shall not effect the remain-
ing part of this ordinance.
The enactment of this ordinance being necessary to the im-
mediate preservation of public business and to provide for the usual
daily operation of a municipal department, it is declared to be an
emergency measure, which shall have and take effect following its
present reading and adoption.
