O-73-403 - 11/15/1973ORDINANCE NO. 403 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP, AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE LOT 10, BLOCK 20 of THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED BELOW, FROM "R -2" MULTI- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO "B -1" GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT, AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH. Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas: WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose of changing the zoning ordinance on the following described real estate: Being all of Lot 10, Block 20, City of Round Rock, a subdivision of Williamson County, Texas, of record in Vol. 2, Page 36, Transcribed Plat of the Plat Records of Williamson County,Texas; and WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning Commission, for its recommendation and report; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above described property from "R -2" Multi- Family Residential District to "B -1" General Business District, which said meeting was held on Thursday, October 18, 1973; and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission approved the change, afore- said in the Zoning Ordinance; said approval being given by said Commission on the 18th day of October, 1973; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Round Rock, that the Zoning Ordinance, and the Zoning Map of the City of Round Rock, be amended so that the property described above shall be and the same is hereby removed from "R -2" Multi- Family Residential District to "B -1" General Business District. The enactment of this Ordinance being necessary to the immediate preservation of public business and to provide for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, it is declared to be an emergency measure, which shall have and take effect following its present reading and adoption.
