O-74-405 - 2/7/1974ORDINANCE NO. 405 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969 BY AMENDING THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE 4.5 ACRES OUT OF THE P. A. HOLDER SURVEY, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED BELOW, FROM "R -1" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO "R -2" MULTI- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas: _ WHEREAS an Application has been made to the City Council for the purpose of changing the zoning ordinance on the following described real estate; Commencing at the northeast corner of Trinity Place Addition, A Subdivision of Williamson County, Texas according to the map or plat thereof recorded in Vol. 2, Page 133 -134, Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas, for the point of beginning of the 4.5 acre tract herein described: THENCE S 75 00 min 51 sec. W for 716.07 ft.; THENCE N 00° 15 min. 19 sec. E for 370.0 ft.; THENCE S 89 44 min. 41 sec. E for 200.0 ft.; THENCE N 81° 24 min. 33 sec. E for 476.74 ft.; THENCE S 00° 19 min. 13 sec. W for 230.0 ft. To the southeast corner of this 4.5 acre tract for the point of termination. AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the zoning ordinance to the City Planning Commission for its recommendation and report; and, WHEREAS the City Planning Commission has approved the changing of said zoning ordinance on the above described property from "R -1" Single Family Residential District to "R -2" Multi - Family Residential District which said meeting was held on December 20, 1973; and, WHEREAS the City Planning Commission approved the change aforesaid in the zoning ordinance; said approval being given by said commission on the 20th day of December, 1973; and, ATTEST: 4 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, that the zoning ordinance and the zoning map of the City of Round Rock, be amended so that the property described above shall be and the same is hereby removed from "R -1" Single Family Residential District to "R -2" Multi- Family Residential District.
