O-75-419 - 3/13/1975ATTEST: ORDINANCE NO. 419 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "REVISED SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, IN MARCH OF 1970, BY AMENDING SECTION 6 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND STANDARDS, BY ADDING A NEW SUB - SECTION 6.14 FLOOD REGULATION WHICH SHALL PROVIDE FOR THE REDUCTION OF POSSIBLE FLOOD HAZARDS TO A NEW SUBDIVISION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: Section 6, GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND STANDARDS, of the "Revised Subdivision Ordinance" of the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, adopted in March of 1970, is hereby amended by adding a new sub - section 6.14 FLOOD REGULATION and shall hereafter read as follows: Sec. 6.14 FLOOD REGULATION: The city shall review each proposed subdivision to assure that: (a) All such proposals are consistent with the need to minimize flood damage; (b) All public utilities and facilities, such as sewage, gas, electrical, and water systems are located, elevated, and constructed to minimize or eliminate flood damage; and (c) Adequate drainage is provided so as to reduce exposure to flood hazards.
