O-75-422 - 6/12/1975ORDINANCE NO. 422 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, BY AMENDING SECTION 7.113, SUB - SECTION a. FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUPPLEMENTING THE DEFINITION OF CUSTOMARY HOME OCCUPATIONS BY INCLUDING WITHIN THE DEFINITION DAY CARE FACILITIES WITH SIX CHILDREN OR LESS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: (1) Section 7.113, sub - section a. of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Round Rock, Texas, adopted on the 2nd day of October, 1969, is hereby rescinded, cancelled, set aside and held for naught. In lieu of and in substitution for said rescinded Section 7.113, sub - section a., of such Zoning Ordinance, it is hereby ordained by the City Council, City of Round Rock, Texas, that Section 7.113, sub - section a., shall hereafter read as follows: 7.113. ACCESSORY BUILDINGS and uses as follows: a. Customary home occupations, such as milner, dress- maker, musician, artist, day care facilities with six children or less, or beautician, provided that such uses are located in the dwelling used by such a person as his or her private residence, and providing further that no person not a member of the family residing on the premises is employed, and no window display or sign is used to advertise the same, unless attached flat -wise to the house and not exceeding two (2) square feet in surface area.
