AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING A CERTAIN 103.51 ACRE TRACT OUT OF THE
J. M. HARRELL SURVEY, ABSTRACT MO. 284 IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY,
TEXAS, AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BELOW, AND
EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS AND GRANTING THE SAID TERRITORY
AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY, ALL OF
THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID CITY
AND BINDING SAID FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL THE ACTS AND
ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and
acknowledged by each and every person and corporation having an interest
in the following described property, to -wit:
BEING a 103.51 acre tract of land out of the J. M. Harrell Survey,
Abstract No. 284, in Williamson County, Texas, and being more
particularly described on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof for all purposes.
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the
City of Round Rock, Texas, on at least two (2) sides, and is not more
than one -half (1/2) mile in width; and
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the
2nd day of October, 1976; and
WHEREAS, after holding a public hearing thereon and after hearing
the arguments for and against the same, the City Council deems it
advisable and in the best interests of the City to grant such petition
and to annex the territory to the City of Round Rock, Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I1 ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
That the following described property, to -wit:
BEING a 103.51 acre tract of land out of the J. M. Harrell Survey,
Abstract No. 284, in Williamson County, Texas, and being more particularly
described on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a part hereof
for all purposes;
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Round Rock, Williamson
County, Texas, and that the boundary limits of the City of Round Rock,
Texas, and the same are hereby extended to include the above - described
property within the city limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and
the same shall hereafter be included within the territorial limits of
said city, and said land and the future inhabitants thereof shall here-
after be entitled to air ri=ghts and privileges of other citizens of the
City of Round Rock, Texas, and shall be bound by the acts and
