AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING THE ZONING
ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP
OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE LOT 1, SECTION 4,
MESA PARK, A SUBDIVISION OF ROUND ROCK, WILLIAMSON COUNTY,
TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED BELOW FROM "R -1" SINGLE- FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO " B - 1 "General Business District,
AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for
the purpose of amending the Zoning Ordinance from "R -1" Single- Family
Residential District to "B -2" Local Business District on the following
described real property, to -wit:
All that certain lot or tract of land described as Lot 1, Mesa Park
Section Four, a subdivision of Round Rock, Williamson County, Texas,
according to the map or plat thereof recorded in Volume 9, Page 55,
Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change
in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for
its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the
change of said Zoning Ordinance on the above - described property from
"R -1" Single- Family Residential District to "B -1" General Business
District (not to "B -2" as was originally applied for) after holding
a public hearing thereon on the 18th day of December, 1975, and the
said City Planning and Zoning Commission approved and recommended to
the City Council on the 18th day of December, 1975, that the Zoning
Ordinance be amended so that the above- described property be changed
from "R -1" Single - Family Residential District to "B -1" General Business
District; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning
Ordinance concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters
have been fully complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the
City of Round Rock, be amended so that the property above described
shall be and the same is hereby removed from "R -1" Single- Family
Residential District to " B - 1 " General Business District
