An Ordinance Amending The "Zoning Ordinance" Passed And
Adopted By The City Council Of The City Of Round Rock, Texas,
On The 2nd Day Of October, 1969, By Amending Section 21.1 To
Provide That The City Council May On Its Own Motion Or Upon
Proper Application Amend The "Zoning Ordinance" And To Further
Amend Section 21.1 By Adding New Sub - Sections 21. 101, 21. 102,
And 21. 103 Which Shall Provide For Regulations And Procedures
For Land Owners Making Application For Zoning Changes; By
Rescinding Section 21.4; Providing For A Savings Clause;
Providing For The Effect Of Other Ordinances, Resolutions Or
Orders.
(1) Section 21.1 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Round Rock, Texas,
adopted on the 2nd day of October, 1969, is hereby amended so as to read
as follows:
Sec. 21. 1: The City Council may, from time to time, on its own motion
or on a proper application or petition amend, supplement, change, modify,
or repeal the regulations, restrictions, and boundaries herein established.
(2) Section 21.1 is further amended by adding the new sub - sections 21. 101,
21. 102, and 21. 103 as follows:
21. 101 Any person, firm, or corporation petitioning the City Council for
a change in the regulations or the zoning district map, shall do so upon
forms provided for such purposes by the Office of the City Secretary. All
petitions or applications for changes in the regulations or zoning district map
shall be filed with the Office of the City Secretary.
21. 102 Each such application shall be accompanied by (1) plats (one
reproducible and three copies) and the plans necessary to show the detail
of the proposed change requested as well as the relation of said property to
that of all property lying within 200 feet thereof and (2) the street address
and suitable legal description of the property proposed to be changed.
21. 103 Each application shall be accompanied, at the time of filing, by
a fee of $25. 00.
(3) Section 21.4 FEES FOR REQUESTING A CHANGE IN ZONING is hereby
rescinded, cancelled, set aside, and held for naught.
(4) All ordinances, resolutions, or orders heretofore enacted, passed,
or adopted by the governing body of the City of Round Rock, Texas, or
parts thereof, in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict.
(5) If any section, sub- section, sentence, clause, phrase or word of
this ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitutional or invalid,
such decision shall not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance.
