O-76-432 - 7/1/1976ORDINANCE NO. 432 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF TEE ORGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE 6.410 ACRES OUT OF THE WILEY HARRIS SURVEY, NO. 124, AND BEING THE SAME TRACT CONVEYED FROM GEORGE D. LOVETT, ET UX, TO BELCO CONSTRUCTION CO., BY DEED AND RECORDED IN VOL. 577, PG. 5083, DEED RECORDS, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED BELOW FROM "B -2" LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT TO "R -1" SINGLE DAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, AS HEREIN AFTER SET FORTH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the purpose of amending the Zoning Ordinance from "B -2" Local Business District to "R -1" Single Family Residential District on the following described real property, to -wit: BEING 6.410 acres out of and a part of the Wiley Harris Survey, No. 124, and being the same tract conveyed from George D. Lovett, et ux, to Belco Construction Co., by deed and recorded in Vol. 577, Pg. 5083, Deed Records, Williamson County, Texas. rr DEGINNING at an iron pin found, said point being/the SW corner of a 50 acre tract from E. B. Burkland, et ux, to Round Rock School District, dated November 13, 1967, and recorded in Vol. 503, Pg. 491 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas said point also being in the North right of way of a county road. THENCE N 1° 00' E. 737.99 feet to an iron pin found near a corner post for the NE corner hereof; THENCE S 72 34 W. 399.86 feet to an iron pin set in the East line of Cushing Street (50 'wide), for NW corner hereof; THENCE alon0the East side of Cushing Street, S 0° 47' M, 738.66 feet to an iron pin set for the SW corner hereof; THENCE N 72° 21 ' E, 397.43 feet along the North line of a_ paved county road also known as Caddis School Road to the point of BEGINNING. ATTEST: AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and report; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above described property from "B -2" Local Business District to "R -1" Single Family Residential District, after holding a Public hearing thereon the 24 day of June, 1976; and WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning Ordinance concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been fully complied with; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission approved the change aforesaid in the Ordinance; said approval being given by said commission on the 24 day of June, 1976. NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the City of Round Rock, Texas be amended so that the property above described shall be and the same is hereby removed from "B -2" Local Business District to "R -1" Single Family Residential District.
